✈ Evacuation & Post-Resettlement Support: Aiding US Allies
Since August 2021, Rise to Peace has been on the front lines of evacuating high-risk individuals from Afghanistan and supporting their resettlement. Through Operation Freedom – Afghanistan Evacuation, we:
✔ Facilitated safe passage for hundreds of U.S. allies to the U.S. via intermediary countries (Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan)
✔ Assisted evacuees in finding housing, employment, and community resources

Rise to Peace was founded by Ahmad Shah Mohibi, who grew up amid civil war in Afghanistan and later worked with the U.S. government to combat terrorism. His personal experience shaped Rise to Peace’s mission to bridge the gap in understanding extremism and terrorism—not just in war zones, but in communities worldwide.
