Analyst – Counter-Terrorism

Khusraw Kherad is a recent graduate of the Trakya University with a B.A. in Economics and previously worked the United States Military in Afghanistan as an interpreter. In addition, he speaks multiple languages and is fluent in Turkish, Farsi, Pashtu languages. Khusraw joined Rise to Peace in 2016 and since then helped the organization’s project management and data analysis process. Most recently, he assisted and managed the “How to Counter Violent Extremism” panel hosted by Rise to Peace at the Elliott School in Washington D.C. Khusraw is an expert on the matter of the Afghan conflict and insurgency groups such as the Taliban, Haqqani Network, ISIS-Khorasan, and others groups in Afghanistan.
