Our work is built on real-life experience and a realistic, hands-on approach to preventing terrorism and building safer communities. We don’t just hold lectures or publish academic theories—we actively train, research, and develop solutions alongside policymakers, security experts, and rising leaders.

Since 2017, we have provided over 500 fellows and interns from 34 countries with real-world experience in counterterrorism, international security, and conflict resolution. Our team works remotely from across the globe on flexible schedules, contributing to impactful projects on a variety of topics, including:

🎓 The Salam Fellowship Program

The Salam Fellowship Program is Rise to Peace’s flagship educational initiative, designed for undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate students, as well as professionals interested in counterterrorism, security policy, and international relations.

Since its inception in 2017, the Salam Fellowship Program has worked with over 670 young scholars, equipping them with the skills and experience needed to pursue careers in government, research, intelligence, and policy-making.

📍 Position: Research Fellow/Intern
🌎 Location: Remote

Rise to Peace is seeking motivated individuals for Research Fellow and Internship positions. This is an exceptional opportunity for those interested in international security, government, intelligence, and counterterrorism.

🔹 Responsibilities:

✔ Conduct in-depth research and write reports on terrorism and extremism
✔ Analyze foreign and domestic terrorist groups and identify security threats
✔ Develop policy recommendations to combat radicalization
✔ Track and log terrorism incidents in global databases
✔ Support events, panels, and high-level discussions
✔ Assist in fundraising, grant writing, and outreach
✔ Promote Rise to Peace’s mission through campaigns and social media

🔹 Requirements:

📖 Research Fellow (Graduate/Professional Level)

✅ M.A. or Ph.D. in international relations, political science, economics, or security studies
✅ Strong research, analytical, and policy-writing skills
✅ Experience in international affairs, peacebuilding, or security

📘 Research Intern (Undergraduate Level)

✅ B.A. or undergraduate student in a relevant field
✅ Interest in counterterrorism and international security
✅ Basic research, writing, and computer proficiency
