Rise to Peace is a U.S.-based nonprofit focused on stopping terrorism and growing peace with research, education, events, and honest talk.

We don’t pick sides—our mission is to connect people everywhere to share experience and stop terrorism—helping everyone and governments take action!

We tackle groups like the Islamic State, al-Qaeda, Boko Haram, the Taliban, the Haqqani Network in Afghanistan, and Jemaah Islamiyah in Southeast Asia; drug cartels like the Sinaloa Cartel in Latin America; Hindu extremists like Sanatan Sanstha in India; Christian extremists like the Lord’s Resistance Army in Africa and violent cults in Latin America; far-right hate groups like The Base, Proud Boys in the U.S., and the Identitarian Movement in Europe; state-sponsored terrorism from nations like Iran (supporting Hezbollah and Hamas) and North Korea (funding cyberattacks); plus cyber terrorism with lone-wolf actors and online threats. We look into these dangers, write clear reports, and teach people. Our online work stops their lies, our panels and talks bring people together, and our media shares the truth worldwide.

Vision

A world where no one faces war or terrorism—just peace.

How We Fight Extremism
